Algerian Quality Tourism Plan

The Algerian Quality Tourism Plan (PQTA) aims to bring all the Algerian tourism professionals together around a voluntary process of quality that is attentive to the needs and satisfaction of domestic and international clients.
Conceived for and with professionals in the tourism sector, and according to international standards, the PQTA can pave the way for the gradual improvement of services and obtaining the certification of« Algerian Quality Tourism ».
The PQTA includes :
- establishment of The Certification of Quality for Algerian Tourism,
- strengthening the quality of human resources,
- regulation of tourism activities,
- and modernization of infrastructure.
Objectives of the Algerian Tourism Quality Plan
- Strengthen national competitiveness by integrating the concept of Quality in all the development projects for tourism businesses;
- Achieve greater professionalization in all of the country’s tourist services;
- Promote the country’s destinations and their attractions;
- Develop long-term durability in Algerian tourism by improving the visibility of the quality of services to domestic and foreign customers;
- Assist the tourism businesses engaged in this process by giving them the appropriate tools for their development: by accompanying them in the operations of renovation, rehabilitation, modernization, extension and training;
- Promote operators engaged in the quality process by integrating them into the network of establishments carrying the certification of « Algerian Quality Tourism », providing them easier entry into commercial channels and better positioning in the market
