How to join ?

Joining the Quality Tourism Plan is done in 7 steps :
- Acknowleage the national standards and commitments of quality, defined for each professional sector in the National Repository of Quality Tourism . The information is available from the authority in charge of tourism (at the central or local level) as well as professional corporations.
- Sign the commitment contract following the national quality approach and start filing for the membership.
- Agree to a diagnostic audit by the audit firm (designated by the Tourism Authority) to give an assessment of the degree of compliance with the commitments of in the National Repository of Quality Tourism and a recommendation for a plan to improve and upgrade services.
- Follow the audit firm recommendations and remove any possible reserves.
- Accept a follow-up review by the audit firm for a confirmation that the recommendations of the previous audit have been followed and implemented
- Submit the completed file, accompanied by the final report of the audit firm, to the standing secretariat of the National Committee who will pass it on to the National Committee of the Certification of “Quality Tourism”, which examines applications and decides whether to award the certification for “Quality Tourism” or not.
- The relevant department of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicraft will deliver the decision to grant the certification of “Quality Tourism” to the beneficiary permitting them to acquire the plaque showing the certification institution.
The documents to provide
- The application form duly completed, signed, and dated by a person authorized to represent the touristic organization.
- The description of the quality approach followed, cosigned by the head of the firm involved.
- The list of staff with their qualifications, indicating mastery of foreign languages.
- A copy of the classification decision, where appropriate, and / or authorization of operations.
- A copy of the certificate of compliance with hygiene rules, not older than 6 months.
- A copy of the certificate of compliance with safety rules, not older than 6 months.
- The description of the system for handling complaints from consumers, with three examples of processed complaints and the corresponding written responses.
