The national certification of “Algerian Quality Tourism” is given to organizations who voluntarily engage in the quality approach and who adhere to the following conditions for membership:
- Meet the standards and commitments for their sector in the National Repository of Quality Tourism,
- Follow a quality approach based on recommendations based on an external audit,
- Establish a permanent unit responsible for internal audit,
- Comply with operating conditions and standard practices,
- Comply with health and safety rules,
- Integrate environmental consciousness,
- Establish a system of handling complaints from customers.
The sectors concerned
To date, the certification is available to the following types of organizations: hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies. Eventually, the certification will be available to all organizations offering services in the Algerian tourism industry.
